About South Florida Boat Club

South Florida’s members-only boat club — on the water since 2009: 30+ boats, four clubs, one membership.

The Care-Free Alternative to Boat Ownership

Since 2009, our members have had all the benefits of owning their own boat but none of the cost or hassle that goes with it — which ultimately gives them more time to enjoy the water with family and friends. You use the boats, and we take care of everything boat owners hate to do and pay for: storage, dockage, maintenance, insurance, taxes, and actually cleaning the boat.

We provide that alternative at a fraction of the cost of ownership while maintaining the highest quality of service — a 30+ boat fleet across four clubs for real selection and availability, all on a single membership.

A Private Club, On Purpose

We are a private membership club: potential members are interviewed by a Membership Director, and every member completes a USCG educational boating course plus individualized hands-on orientation. That’s how the docks stay friendly, the boats stay respected, and members at every skill level boat with confidence.

A Fleet You Can Trust

We go to great lengths to ensure our boats meet all USCG safety standards and guidelines. The Coast Guard inspects our boats each year, and each inspected boat carries a current sticker visible on the side of the vessel.

Every member goes through a safety check-out each time they use our boats. We use certified mechanics, perform 100-hour services, and run a preventative maintenance program with full-time mechanics available to react quickly — and team members dedicated to fleet first impression.

More Than a Fleet — a Club

It’s social functions and outings all year round: members meet on the water and at our open houses across all four locations.
